Valley Veterans Service Center The VVSC is a 501c3 funded directly by Ravalli County to provide dignified, confidential and empowering advocacy for the Bitterroot Valley's veterans.

The VVSC employs two full time veteran claims agents who accurately guide veterans through submitting confidential & equitable VA disability compensation claims, VA healthcare enrollment claims, VA death benefits or pension claims, and various other federal, state, local & private benefits packages. Dan Rachell, the VVSC's senior claims agent, served 16 years in the US Army & Army Reserves and is

a veteran of the Gulf War. Matthew Getz, the VVSC's junior claims agent in training, served 8 years in the US Army & Montana Army National Guard and is a veteran of OIF/OND in Iraq.
