The Butler County Fire Chief’s Association is a collaboration of all fire and EMS chiefs and representatives of major support agencies in Butler County, Ohio. The association was created to responsibly manage and provide the fire and EMS community in Butler County with the resources, knowledge and training necessary to maintain protection of life and property from fire, medical traumas, natural an

The Butler County IMT has been assigned to establish a Logistics Staging Area (LSA) in Lakeland, Florida. Our All Hazards Type 3 Team will be responsible for the distribution of supplies and equipment that will be used to clean up the destruction that Hurricane Ian left behind. They will begin moving out of Orlando. The team will work hard to ensure that the people in the affected area can pick up the pieces and rebuild their lives.

Today the Butler County IMT deployed a Type 3 All Hazards Incident Management Team to Florida to assist with response and recovery efforts to . This logistics mission is for 16 days where the team will support resource management of incoming resources to Florida. 11 Agencies from SW Ohio are deploying with this Emergency Management Assistance Compact mission which covers liability and reimbursement.
