Every year on May 28, the world observes Menstrual Hygiene Day, a global effort to break stigma, promote education, and support menstrual health with dignity.

Yesterday, Highly Favored Foundation was honored to partner with Fairfield Family Y for a Menstrual Hygiene Awareness event focused on education and empowerment.

A special thank you to Dr. Pamela Davis of Cornerstone Integrated Health for sharing her knowledge and helping facilitate meaningful conversations that benefit our community.

When we create safe spaces for learning and dialogue, we build confidence, dignity, and healthier futures for girls and families.

Together, we are creating awareness and inspiring change.

A few highlights from yesterday’s Menstrual Hygiene Awareness event in partnership with Fairfield Family Y ❤️

Thank you to everyone who helped make this event impactful, educational, and meaningful for our community.

We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Pamela Davis from Cornerstone Integrated Health taking the time to educate, encourage, and pour into our community. Your wisdom, compassion, and willingness to openly discuss such an important topic made a powerful impact on everyone present. Even as adults, many of us learned so much.

We believe these conversations matter. Menstrual health and hygiene should never be surrounded by shame or silence. By creating safe spaces for education and honest dialogue, we help build confidence, dignity, and healthier futures for our young girls and families.
We also want to sincerely thank Hamilton Princeton for donating hygiene items to support this initiative and helping us serve our community in a practical way.

This is only the beginning. We hope to continue expanding these conversations into more schools, communities, and families because awareness creates change.

Together, we are making a difference. ❤️🙏

Today is Menstrual Hygiene Day — a global awareness day reminding us that menstruation is natural, normal, and nothing to be ashamed of.

Let us encourage open and healthy conversations with our daughters, sons, students, and communities. If you have a girl child, please talk to her early so she grows up informed, confident, and unashamed — not confused, fearful, or bullied.

Awareness creates confidence. Education breaks stigma. Support changes lives.

Together, let’s raise a generation that treats menstrual health with dignity, understanding, and compassion. 💕

Spread awareness today. One conversation can make a huge difference

Happy Memorial Day.

As summer begins, let’s continue creating safe, joyful, and meaningful experiences for every child. ☀️💛

We are so proud of our children and all they accomplished this school year. Families, please remember — you are not alone. If you need support or resources this summer, we are here to help and connect you to resources.

May 28 is Global Menstrual Hygiene Day. 💗

For many young girls, conversations around menstrual health are still uncomfortable, confusing, or simply never talked about. That is why programs like this matter so much.

We are honored to partner with the Fairfield YMCA for our “Girls of Dignity” workshop creating a safe space where girls can learn, ask questions, build confidence, and know there is absolutely no shame in growing into womanhood.

This is bigger than hygiene. It’s about dignity, confidence, education, and making sure young girls feel seen, supported, and empowered.

We are incredibly grateful for the generosity shown during the Women's Wine and Chocolate Walk donation drive benefiting Highly Favored Foundation this past weekend in Middletown. 💜

A special thank you to Heather McCoy Horine for organizing this beautiful opportunity to support our mission.

These donations will help stock our Hope Corner and support families in our community through the work we do alongside Serve City, YMCA and the School district Success Liaisons.

Thank you to everyone who donated, supported, and helped make this impact possible. Your kindness is making a real difference. ✨
