Could your organization use these?

Through our community connection with UC Health, over 60 brand-new insulated containers, along with ice packs, are available completely FREE to organizations that can put them to good use.

These may be helpful for food distribution, outreach programs, community events, or other community needs.

If your nonprofit, church, school, or community organization is interested, please email: [email protected] and we’ll be happy to connect you.

Please feel free to share. ❤️

A reminder worth sharing. ❤️

Last month, we had the opportunity to participate in the Butler County Family & Children First Council Resource Fair, and one thing stood out: there are so many organizations in our community doing good work and offering different kinds of support.

If you or someone you know is going through a difficult season, don’t be afraid to ask questions and find out what resources may be available.

Not sure where to start? Dial *2-1-1* to connect with community resources in your area.

At Highly Favored Foundation, we’re grateful to be part of a community working together to help families find the support they need.

Sometimes the need can't wait until Monday.

This weekend, we received an email about a young mother with a newborn who had nowhere safe to go. She was sitting in her car with her baby, trying to figure out where they would sleep that night.

Through our 72-Hour Safe Haven program, we were able to step in and provide a temporary safe place for mom and baby while helping connect her to additional resources.

Sometimes 72 hours may not sound like much. But when you have a newborn and don't know where you're going to sleep that night, 72 hours of safety can mean everything.

We are grateful for the community partners who continue to reach out and work with us when someone needs help.

This is why we do what we do. ❤️

We are so grateful for our partnership with Serve City 💙

This is what community looks like—organizations working together to meet real needs and help families move forward.

Thank you, Serve City, for sharing our story and for allowing us to serve alongside you. ❤️

A single encounter at Kroger changed everything. Meet our incredible partner, The Highly Favored Foundation! Highly Favored Foundation new page 🛒💙👶

When Alberta moved from Ghana, West Africa, to the United States, she believed America was a land of boundless opportunity. But an ordinary trip to Kroger stopped her in her tracks: a young girl asked for a quarter because her family was living out of their car and starving.

Alberta only had about $40 in her pocket. She couldn't end homelessness overnight, but she knew she could do something so she walked across the street and bought that family a hot meal.

That single, unforgettable moment birthed The Highly Favored Foundation.

Today, Alberta and her team are an invaluable asset to Serve City. Every Tuesday at our Food Pantry, they step into the gap to provide essential personal hygiene products and baby necessities (diapers, wipes, and basic care items) to local families in need.

Meaningful change doesn’t require us to fix everything at once; it just asks us to do what we can with what we have.

Is your business, church, or civic organization ready to step into the gaps with us to love our neighbors?

A grateful moment for Highly Favored Foundation. 💚

The Power of the Purse grant process began with 22 applicants. Twelve organizations were selected to present, and we are grateful to have made it to the final three.

Yesterday, we had another opportunity to share what we do and why it matters helping women, children and families in Butler County get through difficult moments and move toward stability.

No matter the outcome, we are thankful for the opportunity to share our work and for everyone who continues to believe in and support our mission.

Sometimes, the simplest things can make the biggest difference. 💚

Yesterday, 39 people accessed Hope Corner at Serve City for everyday essentials that can become difficult to afford during a hard season.

For a family facing crisis or housing instability, having some of those basic needs covered can mean one less difficult choice that week.

That’s why Hope Corner exists.

Grateful for our partnership with Serve City and everyone who helps us continue showing up for Butler County families.

What a great morning at the Butler County Social Services Resource Expo!

Highly Favored Foundation connected with more than 100 community members, providing essential hygiene, clothing, footwear, and household items while connecting families with resources and support.

It was encouraging to see just how many incredible resources are available right here in Butler County—and to connect with organizations like the YWCA, whom we work with often to support families in crisis.

This is what community looks like: organizations working together so families don’t have to navigate hard times alone.💚
