The Trenton Digital Initiative
Because everyone deserves Internet access. The Trenton Digital Initiative, is a non-profit initiative to distribute free computers and low-cost, high-speed Internet to economically challenged Trenton families. To provide free home computers to economically challenged families, and connect the computers to the Internet under a special plan. A special service plan has

been offered by Comcast called “Internet Essentials” that provides Internet access for only $9.95 a month to those families in need. We are asking for computer donations from you! Trenton Digital is looking for old Windows/PC that are no longer being used. All donated computer will be completely wiped clean and restored with a new operating system, called Ubuntu. We wipe out all data prior to refurbishing and distributing each computer. Computers refurbished with Ubuntu, come with a word processor, spreadsheet program, presentation program and Firefox, all compatible with the current Microsoft Office. How old can my computer be? Oddly, in this case, the age of the computer does not matter. Ubuntu works on most PC computers and laptops regardless of how “old” they may be. Is my donation a tax deduction? Yes! By donating your computer, you will be presented with a tax-deductible receipt that verifies your donation. Is TDI accepting monetary donations? If you do not have a computer to donate, you may make a donation payable to “Mercer Street Friends”. You will be presented with a tax-deductible receipt that verifies your donation. How do I donate? There are four ways to donate your computer. Here are some options:
When: Monday thru Friday, from 9 AM to 4 PM
Where: MIDJersey Chamber, 1A Quakerbridge Plaza Drive, Suite 2, Mercerville
