Rooftop Theatre Collaborative is DOUBLE DIGITS!

It’s wild to think we’ve been at this for a decade (minus a few years for that whole pandemic thing). RTC’s debut performance was Opposite Octaves on May 30, 2015. How many RTC productions have you seen in these last ten years?

The search for the next show to take us into a new decade continues. Stayed tuned for an announcement!

The Revolutionists closed three months ago today. On this Presidents’ Day, we are grateful for the ability to share in small acts of artistic defiance. This is how we hope.

MEET THE STAGE MANAGER: Abby is a stage manager, props technician, and avid baker. She was trained in stage management at Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland. Abby spent last season as props technician at Arena Stage in her home town of Washington D.C., where she worked on Swept Away, Cambodian Rock Band, and POTUS, among others. Her recent move to New York found her assisting on Table 17 at MCC theater and she is thrilled to be managing with Rooftop Theater for the first time. When not managing, Abby is teaching swim lessons to the youth of Manhattan, so she’s delighted to be keeping her hair dry for a little while.

MEET THE CAST: Bridging the gap between cast and creative team, Jaci D’Ulisse is proud to bring The Revolutionists to life as an actor, co-director and producer with RTC - the company she co-founded in 2015. She is remarkably grateful for this troop of bold artists with whom she has had the privilege to create and grow. When not pursuing her various artistic passions, Jaci can most likely be found obsessing over her dog, indulging in an order of fries, or catching a flight to her next adventure.

MEET THE CAST: Blake Shutterly (she/her) is a NY-based actor-writer-producer who is stoked to be working with Rooftop Theatre Collaborative. By day, she works at a fitness production company and by night, she surrounds herself with artists and creatives to collaborate, learn from, and grow with. You can find her in independent films, on-stage, or at home with her fur-babies reading a juicy book.

MEET THE CAST: Originally from Minneapolis, Emily Gustafson is now a Brooklyn-based actor and writer thrilled to be making her New York debut with Rooftop Theatre Collaborative. Previous favorite roles include Malvolio in Twelfth Night and Lady Montague/Apothecary in Romeo and Juliet at the Wisconsin Shakespeare Festival, Dorine in Tartuffe, and Linda Coffee in Roe. She’s honored to be working on a show about badass women with so many badass women, and excited to bring “crazy ass Marie Antoinette” to life. Big love to her friends and family for their support, especially to her friends doing this whole New York thing with her. Vive la révolution!
