DSI offers Prepare to Lead Workshops for adults, Youth Leadership Workshops and Summer Camps for children. It's a great place to learn essential soft skills in a focused, structured way, a learning opportunity that is not easy to find. Exposure to such a leadership program will boost confidence significantly and bring on a will to lean in and lead. Here are some questions to ask and responses to compare, if you're looking for an effective program.

1. WHAT ARE THE COACH'S CREDENTIALS? Check out the DSI Coach's Credentials listed on this page. With Communication and Leadership coaching experience of about 10 years, DSI Leadership Workshops exude quality.

2. Check out the reviews and 5-STAR Ratings at this page. Additional references are available.

3. IS IT LEADERSHIP OR PUBLIC SPEAKING? Leadership is MORE than Public Speaking. DSI workshops teach how to run meetings, how to evaluate performances, how to provide motivational feedback and more, in addition to public speaking.

4. "SPECIALTY BOUTIQUE" OR A "RETAIL STORE"? Metaphorically speaking, DSI stands out like a Specialty Boutique
focusing solely on Leadership skill development, in comparison to
other retail "stores" that focus more on event management or also
on other activities, with Public Speaking being just another offering.

5. HOW MUCH DOES IT COST? DSI's workshops are very reasonably priced so you get superior value for your money. For specifics. please email [email protected]. We also offer travel workshops, feel free to ask and we can work something out. If you've had the DSI experience already, do leave a Rating and Review at the page. When a DSI child from 2018 surprises with a sweet testimonial 😍

A look down memory lane! I joined Destination Speech Improvement (DSI) in fifth grade, and at the conclusion of my session, I won the junior division of DSI’s community speech competition. I never could have imagined how profoundly DSI would shape my future. Coach Priya Sundararaman, DTM's program...

We just successfully concluded a special, free 4-week workshop created exclusively for a local non-profit ,Aadhyatmik, by Destination Speech Improvement (DSI) - where youth leaders have been made since 2016!

Happy to have given the Aadhyatmik Youth Leadership Board a taste of the DSI experience.

It was refreshing to see the children take to it with such enthusiasm. They are all incredibly driven, and I’m sure this experience will be one of those that stays with them for life.

I’m very proud of Dhaniya and Ananya Venkat, DSI’s Distinguished Youth Leaders, for leading this effort so engagingly. They’ve been with DSI since their early middle school years and have worked so diligently to reach this level. They did a phenomenal job!

All the best to all the children! I hope they carry this experience with them and continue to grow as confident young leaders.🙏🏻

Summer break is over, and we’re back!

SepDec2026 - DSI’s 48th & 49th youth leadership workshops kicked off with a successful orientation session this morning, with full attendance!

I’m looking forward to working with this next group of 14 kids as they develop their communication, leadership, debate, and discussion skills.

You may hear some updates from me along the way as we work through the next 12 weeks.

The 24th Grand Finale, DSITalks-24, will be held on Dec 20,2026 where their public speaking skills will take center stage.

And with these workshops, we will also wrap up a decade of building young leaders. Who knew!

Almost 300 children trained/certificates of completion handed out, 14 Distinguished Youth Leaders created, and the numbers keep growing.

I’m truly happy about this milestone and grateful for the trust placed in DSI, season after season. Thank you!
