Donations Arrived in Ukraine!!!

I want to thank you all for your donations and especially Matthew Italiano for all his help in organizing The Phil Gargan Foundation’s first event, Pass To…Ukraine.
Matthew worked with the Allentown High School administration for permission for collection boxes at the school and the use of the field for the main collection. He mobilized such great support, enabling us to receive over 100 pairs of cleats, shirts socks, and other gear. As a follow up he took it upon himself to collect close to 80 soccer balls that are on their way to Ukraine. THANK YOU, MATT!

Our partner, Father Yuri from the St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church in Trenton told me your donations lifted the spirits of the young soccer players at the Orphanage of the city of Chynadiyev. They are between the ages of 8-13 and for the first time since the invasion they were able to get back out on the pitch with the help of your generous hearts.
I am meeting Father Yuri next week to deliver our second donation to the Orphanage. It includes donations from:
• Molly Morris’ - appeal, cleats, and equipment.
• Coach Kim Maurer Allentown Girls Varsity – appeal
• Matthew Italiano – soccer balls
• The Phil Gargan Foundation – 25 Uniforms (2 socks, 2 shorts, and 1 Shirt – red & black)

I must ask for your help in The Phil Gargan Foundation’s commitment to not only helping our young soccer players in Ukraine but as well as our efforts here with the Team America Club in Trenton NJ.
A $100 gift pays for the annual soccer tuition for one of the young players in the Orphanage.

Since starting The Phil Gargan Foundation I have been blessed with meeting some great people. I wanted to share the story of meeting Molly and her family.
I was introduced by Evan Dabby, Executive Director of New Jersey Youth Soccer to Molly Morris.
Molly is a High School senior. One day she was sorting through her old soccer gear and reflected on how lucky she was to have such great memories of going to professional games and playing such a wonderful sport that she wanted to give back and help others share that same joy.
Molly took the step and reached out to her soccer community and the response was great. People donated appeal, cleats, and equipment.
I am happy to help Molly with her vision. The Phil Gargan Foundation will be distributing her donation through our program Pass To...Ukraine for refugees and the Pass To...Home Town to recipients here in Trenton.

I am excited to announce Home Town F.C. is sponsoring High Street Futsal Open Play/Pick Up Games this Saturday 12/10/2022 and next Saturday 12/17/2022 afternoons from 3 pm to 6 pm at the Allentown High School Gyms. 27 HIGH Street Allentown NJ
It's a fun, fast pace way to spend a Saturday afternoon.

Thanks to the generous donation from NJ Youth Soccer and EDP, Pass To.... Home Town F.C. delivered Adidas balls for 15 teams, a pair of Nike socks and shin guards to all 225 player of the Team America Club in Trenton NJ - https://www.facebook.com/people/America-Infantil-Trenton-Nj/100009863408424/ on Saturday September 10, 2022. This is first in a continued commitment to Jose Cabrera and the many volunteers of Team America whose passion provide a safe environment for the youth and their families of Trenton to enjoy an afternoon of soccer. Games on Saturdays 3pm.

Good morning

A quick update. Your generous donations are on their way to Western Ukraine to Pastor Yuri's network who will be giving them to children newly orphaned and adults. You gave 110 cleats, socks, shorts and shirts. Ten teams, countless steps of healing hope, all from your support.

I committed to Pastor Yuri and the people of the Ukraine our continued support.
Pastor Yuri shared his efforts to help the children who lost their parents and now orphans and how his friends are providing a safe heaven. He mentioned his vision of helping with their education.

Wow.
Thank you for your generous donations. We collected more then 90 pairs of cleats (8 teams), shin guards, 30 pairs of socks, shorts and shirts.
So grateful for the generous contribution from Neptune Soccer Assoc. Hand delivered to us by Jude Welsh!

The St May's Byzantine Catholic Church is delivering the collections to our Ukrainian soccer family with the hope they can get back to the joy of life on and off the field.
