Today is Ma’s birthday! I can’t believe she’s finally 40 years old! It’s weird because I’m 45 but whatever.

We would be lost without her. She’s the first person I run to with bad news and the first person I want to tell when good things happen. I love her, my friends love her and the cats love her.

Last night around midnight a friend and supporter who works for EMS called me. I knew it was either a butt dial or something bad. It was the latter. There was a collision on the interstate. I’m not giving details of the crash as it’s not my place to do, but it was very bad. During the chaos of trying to help, they saw this sweet angel kitty come out of the car. She was in shock and did not run away. We are boarding her until we know more details of who she belongs to, and if they are ok.

She’s incredibly sweet, about 16 weeks old and wants nothing but pets and cuddles. It’s a miracle she’s ok and we are so thankful. Keep her family in your thoughts please.

Bottle feeding three potatoes isn’t how I envisioned my Saturday night, but here we are!

These babies were found in a culvert. Their mom had been hit on the road. The cop on duty stopped by and asked us to take, and I am terrible at saying no.

They are healthy-ish but they aren’t wanting to eat. We may have to run them to the ER vet.

Kitten season is still in full effect. Our dreams of taking a break have been stuffed into the dark recesses of our brain along with the ones of marrying Reacher.

We’ve been fixing ferals, getting the injured ones helped, finding fosters and caring for the ones we have here. Our finances are dwindling and we have vet bills to pay.

Are you looking to add an absolute weirdo to your family? Gabrus might be the cat for you! He’s sassy, gruff, but a sweetheart underneath. He will hiss at you one second and then demand pets the next. He’s a big uncle to the tiny kittens that come in, even picking them up and carrying them around sometimes. He’s sweet and much like his namesake, he has 15 podcasts and everyone loves him.

It’s almost been a year that he’s been here without a single application. Please help us find this sassy angel a home!
