Happy birthday to one of our favorite people in the world Angela! She goes above and beyond for us constantly. She plans fundraisers, she fosters, and she finally let me follow her location so that I can see how many times she goes to Applebees a week. She’s kind, she’s funny, she’s smart and she’s a total smoke show. We are so lucky to know her and we hope she has a wonderful 29th birthday!

OG Anunoby is using his championship spotlight to help some local cats get noticed.

Fresh off helping lead the New York Knicks to an NBA title, Anunoby has partnered with Animal Care Centers of NYC (ACC), Royal Canin, and VCA Animal Hospitals to spotlight five adoptable shelter cats. The campaign, called "OG's Starting Five," highlights cats currently waiting for homes in New York City's largest shelter system.

To encourage adoptions, the campaign is offering a year of free cat food and veterinary care for adopters. Royal Canin is also donating $300,000 worth of pet food to animal shelters across the U.S. Animal advocates hope the effort will help more shelter cats find loving families.

Yesterday we were visited by three ghosts….No wait that happened last Christmas. Yesterday we were visited by four kids from the drama department at Collinsville High School! They have a play coming up this July. Go see it!!

Updates!

Thanks to the St. Paul Daycare for raising $175 for us at their lemonade stand! They also collected supplies for us. We are so very thankful!!!

Update on the tornado shirts: I shipped them all out at once and only one person has received theirs. We are working out what happened but in the meantime, Basler Screen Printing is making more and we will get those shipped out to you asap. We are so sorry for the delay!!

We currently have 11 kittens with 2 more on the way. Our wonderful friend and foster Angie has 6 kittens she’s fostering for us and we have two adult cats who were returned because the person was moving. We will be posting info on all of them so that we can find them homes!!

Thanks to all of you for your support. Much like every kitten season, this one is hitting us and all of our rescue friends hard. We are so thankful to have so many of you who help us save as many as we can!
