Calling all adventurous widows! Only 4 spots left!

Our friends at Widow Might are planning a wonderful getaway to the Apostle Islands next summer, and they're inviting widows to join them!

Imagine four days of kayaking on Lake Superior, exploring beautiful sea caves, hiking, sitting around the campfire, and making new friendships with women who understand the journey of widowhood. 💙

This adventure is organized by Widow Might and guided by Wilderness Inquiry. And the best part? No previous kayaking experience is necessary!

📍 Apostle Islands | Bayfield, Wisconsin

📅 June 24–27, 2027

💲 $650 per person — includes camping accommodations, meals, kayaking equipment, experienced guides, and activities. Transportation to Bayfield is not included, but carpooling is being considered.

What a night! 🎸❤️

Our first-ever TWC Concert Patio Social was one to remember. From the music and good food to the fundraising, laughter, and incredible community that filled the evening, we’re so grateful to everyone who helped make it such a success.

A huge thank you to everyone who came out, brought friends and family, purchased tickets, donated, participated in the silent auction and fundraising games, and supported The Widow Collaborative in any way. Your generosity helps us continue creating connection, community, and support for widows.

And of course, a very special thank you to Big Bore Barbecue and Mike Darula for making this event happen and helping bring this incredible evening to life! And thank you to Twin Star Rocket and GB Leighton for keeping the music going all night! 🎶

Sometimes, the best thing you can do for yourself is simply step outside. 🌿

A short walk can lift your mood, clear your mind, and give you a little space to reset. You don't need an hour or a perfect plan. Just 10 minutes can be a great place to start.

So take a walk, soak up some sunshine, and give yourself a few minutes to breathe. Small steps can make a big difference.

One of the most meaningful ways to honor someone we’ve lost is to keep the things they cared about alive. ❤️

The Live Your Dash Memorial Fund was created in memory of Brian Shoop to carry forward his love of life, the outdoors, helping others, and making the most of the time we have.

🍂 This October, Brian’s family is bringing the community together for the Live the Dash Fall Bash, a fundraiser supporting that mission. 🎶 Come for the live music, chili, kids’ games, raffles and silent auction. Stay for the chance to be part of something that keeps Brian’s legacy moving forward.

The Widow Collaborative was grateful to join Widow Might for their River Cruise this summer and spend quality time together with members of the community.

Widow Might, led by the wonderful Kathy Scheffler, brings widows together through monthly groups throughout the Twin Cities, creating meaningful opportunities for connection, friendship, and support.
