Founded in 1833, The Children’s Center of Hamden offers a continuum of behavioral health, psychiatric, and special education services helping vulnerable individuals excel in their homes, schools, communities. We’re proud to share that The Children’s Center of Hamden has received a $250,000 award through Connecticut’s Community Investment Fund 2030 program! This vital funding will support planning for future campus improvements and expanded behavioral health services for children and families across Greater New Haven.

For more than 190 years, TCCOH has evolved to meet the needs of our community. As the demand for youth behavioral health services continues to grow, this investment will help strengthen access to care for the future.

We are deeply grateful to Office of Governor Ned Lamont, the Community Investment Fund Board, State Representative Josh Elliott , and our local legislative delegation for their support and advocacy.
