Why does reading matter? Our third graders at Clemente have some thoughtful answers.

As they created a learning contract with their Boundless Literacy teacher, they talked about what reading makes possible: going to college, becoming a doctor or teacher, understanding signs and labels, staying safe—and reading to younger children. ❤️

They’re already connecting the work they do in their lessons to their bright futures. We’re so proud to be a part of this work and to help them become strong, confident readers.
