We are excited to announce our 2026 picnic! In honor of the late, but great, Matthew Barba we will be raising funds for those in early recovery. We hope you, family, and friends will join us in support of our recovery community! We are also accepting donations and volunteers at this time.

Matt’s Homestead will be visiting Wings of Hope Recovery to assist those needing assistance to get back on their feet providing food and transportation to a job and appointments. Clothing donations will be distributed. Thank you to all those supporting our mission. ♥️

Max and Ethan, sons of founder Jennifer Barba speak about the meaning of Matt’s Homestead. We also welcomed New volunteers and members Vinny and Gina Valentino. On Thanksgiving, we went to the Surrender House in Hamden to give some essentials to those in recovery. It’s one of several events we attend to help the community. From bus passes to toiletry bags to grocery gift cards, our volunteers are on site to assist. To learn more or to request donations, click to our website or send a DM.
