Philip's Foundation, Inc., is hosting "With a Rose" to raise money in support of nonprofit organizations that offer treatment, counseling, and support to individuals and families who suffer with the disease of addiction or who may have lost a loved one. Philip passed away on July 30, 2020, at the age of 31 from an accidental he**in overdose laced with fentanyl. Philip suffered from the disease of
addiction and was actively in recovery. He was a man who was valued and treasured by his family, friends, and employers. He was a chef, a gardener, a fitness enthusiast, a hiker, a lover of music, a fisherman, and so much more. He was witty, smart, kind, caring, a defender of those who were bullied, and was a true pleasure to spend time with. was established in 2021 to honor him, and share with others how special he truly was. Our mission is to raise money in support of non-profit organizations that offer treatment, counseling, and support to individuals and families who suffer from the disease of addiction or who may have lost a loved one. All proceeds received from our, "With a Rose" event will be donated to TriCircle, Inc., a CT-based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. supports families and individuals struggling with a Substance Use Disorder and one that offers hope and aid to those families who have lost a loved one to the wretched disease of addiction. Our "With a Rose", event will be held at Nuzzo's Farm on September 11th, from 3pm-7pm. The event will include live entertainment by renowned local musicians, MEAN CAJON! Food trucks, including Nuzzo's Pizza truck, Chris and Roy's Brotherly Grub, and Mister Softee. Beer and wine will be available for purchase from Nuzzo's Farm. Ticket donations are $25 & will include a T-Shirt. Various games and events will be provided for family fun. Children will enjoy a small animal farm. A motivational guest speaker will share a message of hope. In addition, to food and entertainment, Philip’s Foundation, Inc. will host a Silent Auction and Raffles. The Silent Auction will feature an autographed edition of "Deal," written by the Grateful Dead’s drummer, Bill Kreutzmann, and also an autographed first edition of Andrew Lloyd Webber's memoir, "UnMasked." Raffles include sports memorabilia, a variety of Milwaukee tools, Artwork, giftcards, 50/50 raffle, and much more!
