Our amazing students got creative with one of our Occupational Therapist Assistants last week! They combined art and writing to make self-portraits that tell their unique stories.

Not only did they practice fine motor skills, but they also got to express themselves in such a fun and meaningful way. We love seeing their personalities shine through their art!

National Assistive Technology Awareness Day is April 30, 2025 and we’re celebrating by showcasing the CT Tech Act Project AT partner agencies!! Today we're highlighting ACES - Area Cooperative Educational Services Assistive Technology Services, whose team blends expertise in Speech, Special Education, and OT to create customized student solutions. Their offerings include: Speech-to-text/text-to-speech software; Augmentative & Alternative Communications (AAC); adaptive writing tools; specialized access methods like eye gaze technology; and more.
