Congratulations to Dr Brian Clemency on this prestegious recognition for his contributions to EMS!
We are proud and privileged to have him as our Medical Director.

Congratulations to Brian Clemency, DO, MBA! He has been honored with an “Award for Outstanding Contribution in EMS” from the American College of Emergency Physicians - ACEP!

Clemency, professor and vice chair of academic and faculty affairs in the Department of Emergency Medicine at the Jacobs School of Medicine & Biomedical Sciences - University at Buffalo, accepted the award at ACEP’s national conference in Chicago.

Last week, we hosted another successful Hamburg Volunteer Fire Department Fall Raffle, and we couldn’t be more grateful for everyone who came out and supported us!

The Hamburg High School EMT Program has been a true pillar of our emergency services community for many years.

Of our current active membership, 27 members began their journey by taking the EMT program at Hamburg High School. Without this program, many of these individuals may never have become EMTs or pursued a future in emergency services.

This program is also available to students in the Frontier Central Schools as a senior-year elective, providing an incredible opportunity for local students to gain valuable medical training, serve their community, and potentially discover a lifelong passion for emergency services.

If you know a student in the Hamburg or Frontier School District, encourage them to consider taking the EMT program during their senior year. You never know where that first step might lead.

A huge thank you to News 4 WIVB Buffalo for coming out and highlighting this incredible community asset, and to the Hamburg Central School District for continuing to offer and support this program.
Programs like this don't just teach skills—they help build the future of emergency services in our community.

A reminder that although it has rained recently we are still in a burn ban. With the higher winds and low humidity today, there is an elevated risk of brush fires.

The annual statewide BURN BAN is in effect now through May 14.

The combination of dry fine fuels, wind gusts and low humidity values will contribute to an elevated risk this afternoon. Use caution if handling ignition sources, machinery or matches. Properly extinguish and dispose of cigarette butts.
