What a great show!!! Thank you to our amazing pilots that thrilled the crowd. From jets to flying lawnmowers, it couldn’t have been a more exciting day. Those interested in learning to fly are invited to our weekly training lessons offered each Thursday (weather permitting) at 6:00 pm at the airfield FREE of charge.

READY…SET….TAKE OFF!!!! Don’t miss the excitement today at the FREE Hamburg Radio Controlled Air Show starting at 12:00 noon. Gates open at 11:30 am at Manly Bennett Park on Merrill Road (enter the south east drive and head straight back and follow the signs). Interested spectators will be invited after the show to fly with the aid of an experienced pilot and buddy box. DON’T MISS IT!!

COMING SATURDAY!!!! Radio-Controlled Air Show – Sky-High Fun for All Ages!

Look to the skies over Manly Bennett Park - East in Hamburg Township and get ready for a day of high-flying thrills! On Saturday, August 9th beginning at noon our Radio-Controlled Air Show brings together skilled RC pilots from across the area to perform dazzling stunts, daring aerobatics, and realistic scale flights that will leave you amazed.
Watch as miniature jets roar past, vintage warbirds glide with grace, and helicopters hover and flip in jaw-dropping maneuvers.

After the show, see the planes up close and meet the pilots to learn how these impressive models are built and flown. If you always wanted to try your hand at flying, our RC pilots will aid you with an opportunity to buddy box fly! Adults and kids are welcome to participate.

Whether you’re a lifelong aviation fan or just love exciting outdoor fun, this event will keep your eyes to the skies.

Radio controlled airplane pilots are busy preparing for their annual Air Show scheduled for Saturday, August 9th (raindate August 23rd). Come witness the excitement in the sky at Manly Bennett Park -East. Gates open at 11:30. Show begins at 12:00 noon. FREE Admission. Don’t miss this chance to see the Hamburg RC club’s finest as they take to the skies. A free upportunity to try your hand at flying with the aid of an experienced pilot on a buddy box controller is offered to interested guests following the show.

Today, the Hamburg RC Flyers Club takes to the skies for their annual AIR SHOW Bennett Park on Merrill Road in Hamburg Township!! Starting at noon today watch as experienced radio controlled pilots put on a show to awe the crowds! After the show all interested spectators will have an opportunity to fly aided by a pilot! Cone on out at 12:00 pm today!!!

What a great day! The pilots’ performances for our audience were amazing! The two rain showers did not deter them or our guests. From jets to helicopters to a flying lawn mower, the thrills were many. Thanks to all who came out to watch our pilots in action. See you all next year!

The Hamburg Flyers RC Club has scheduled their 19th Annual Radio Controlled Air Show for Saturday, August 12, 2023 (rain date August 19) beginning at 12:00 noon. The Model Aviation Day Air Show will take place at the Bennett Park airfield located at Manly Bennett Park - East on Merrill Rd in Hamburg Township. Gates open at 11:30 am with the show beginning at noon. Crowds will be entertained by RC pilots from around the area for two hours. Take offs, spins, smoke, dips, turns, daring tricks, and landings are among the thrills to be witnessed.

At the conclusion of the show, spectators (young and not so young) will be invited to try their hand at radio controlled flying. Experienced pilots will instruct those interested utilizing a Hamburg Flyer’s plane aided with a ‘buddy box’ controller. The air show and buddy box flying are FREE of charge!!!

COME EXPERIENCE THE THRILLS OF RADIO CONTROLLED FLYING!!

Join us Saturday August 12 for our FREE annual RC airshow. Flying will start around 12pm till about 3pm after the airshow we will have buddy box flying to try your hand at RC flying. Snack and Drinks will be available for purchase.
Rain date will be Saturday August 19.
