📦 MISSION ACCOMPLISHED! 📦

We are absolutely blown away by the incredible outpouring of support for our "We Care" Packing Event! Thanks to an amazing team of volunteers, community members, and partners, we successfully assembled and filled 300 boxes packed to the brim with a multitude of items for our service members.

This achievement truly took a village, and we want to extend a massive thank you to everyone who made it possible:

Our Dedicated Blue Star Mothers NY 7 Membership: A profound thank you to our incredible members who put their hearts into this project from day one, guiding it seamlessly from the early planning phases all the way to final ex*****on.

Our Wonderful Volunteers & Community Members: You showed up with big hearts, high energy, and ready to work. We couldn't have taped, packed, or stacked a single box without you!

The Creative Kids: A special shout-out to the children who wrote beautiful cards and colored pictures to add a personal touch of home and warmth to every single box.

Our Generous Community Sponsors & Partners: We are incredibly grateful for the immense support from the Buffalo Bills Foundation, the Buffalo Sabres Foundation, New Era Cap, Great Erie Federal Credit Union, The Market in the Square, the United States Post Office and Immaculate Conception School. Your contributions were vital to reaching our goal.

Local Organizations: To every other group and business that stepped up to contribute items and time—thank you for proving how strong our community is when we work together.

Our hearts are so full! ❤️🎨 A huge THANK YOU to the wonderful kids at for creating the most beautiful cards and pictures for our "We Care" packages!

Our soldiers are absolutely going to love opening these. Receiving a colorful, handmade card from a child is such a massive morale booster, and it gives our troops a beautiful reminder that the next generation back home is thinking of them and cheering them on. 🇺🇸✨

Thank you, Global Concepts students, for putting so much love, creativity, and care into every single drawing and message. You are going to bring so many smiles to our service members overseas!

A massive THANK YOU to , , and ! ❤️

Throughout the month of May, these amazing community partners hosted donation drives for our upcoming "We Care" packing event on June 6th. Because of your incredible generosity and the support of everyone who dropped off items, our tables will be stocked and ready to go!

The items collected are going to bring so much joy to our soldiers. More than just snacks and supplies, these care packages serve as a powerful reminder to our troops that everyone back home is thinking of them, supporting them, and grateful for their service. 📦✨

We couldn’t do this without our community. Thank you for helping us send a little piece of home overseas!

BSMNY7 Donation Drive This Saturday!

Calling all community members! This coming Saturday, May 30th, the Buffalo-Niagara NY7 Chapter of the Blue Star Mothers of America will be hosting a donation drive to support our deployed troops and veterans.

If you are out doing your grocery shopping or running errands this weekend, please consider stopping by our table to drop off some much-needed items or to make a donation!

Time: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Where: Market In the Square,

🛒 High-Priority Items Needed:
We are looking for single-serve, easy-to-pack snacks and comfort items for our upcoming "We Care" packages:
Breakfast & Snacks: Cereal in a cup , Noodles in a cup , Pop-Tarts , Belvita bars
Quick Bites: Jif-to-go packs , Lance crackers , 2-pack cookies , Fruit snacks
Hygiene: Wipes Monetary cash donations will also be gratefully accepted on-site to help us cover shipping and operational costs!

💙🌟 A Beautiful Day of Honor and Sisterhood 🌟💙

It was our absolute privilege and honor for Blue Star Mothers NY 7 to host a special brunch with our beloved Gold Star Mother sisters.

This day was entirely dedicated to honoring them as mothers, celebrating the deep connections we share, and enjoying a wonderful time of fellowship. While we wrapped them in love and support, we also paused to remember and honor the ultimate sacrifice made by their children.

We are bound by a unique bond, and sharing this space together was truly a gift. Thank you to everyone who made this beautiful day possible, and a deepest thank you to our Gold Star sisters for gracing us with your presence. 🕊️💐

💙 Join Us for Our "We Care" Packaging Event! 💙

Blue Star Mothers NY 7 is excited to announce that we will be hosting our next "We Care" Packaging Event on June 6th! These packages are a vital way for us to support our service members and let them know they are remembered and appreciated back home.

A massive Thank You to the Great Erie Federal Credit Union for their incredible support in assisting us with gathering donations. We couldn't do this without the generosity of our community partners!

Today, Blue Star Mothers NY7 proudly celebrates the birthday of the Air Force Reserve! ✈️

Since its founding, the Air Force Reserve has played a vital role in protecting our nation—ready at a moment’s notice to serve at home and around the world. These dedicated Airmen balance civilian lives with military service, answering the call with unwavering commitment, skill, and courage.

We are especially proud of the families who stand behind them—supporting their missions, sacrifices, and service every step of the way.

To all who have served and continue to serve in the Air Force Reserve, we thank you for your dedication and sacrifice. Your service does not go unnoticed.

March was a month to remember for Blue Star Mothers NY7! 💙⭐

We are still buzzing from an amazing Military Appreciation Night with the Buffalo Sabres on March 25th! Our moms were out in the stands selling 50/50 tickets, and we are beyond honored to announce that the Buffalo Sabres Foundation is presenting our chapter with a generous donation of $3,400! ⚔️🏒

A huge highlight was meeting up with Sabres legend and fellow Blue Star Dad, Marty Biron. We presented him with a NY7 shirt, and we were thrilled to see him rocking it the very next day on his podcast! Thanks for the support, Marty!

To wrap up the month, our board members visited Pawsitive for Heroes on March 31st to present a check sponsoring a service dog for a local veteran. 🐾

We feel so incredibly blessed to support the military community here in Western New York. Thank you to everyone who makes this mission possible!
