Honoring Our Heroes

Members of Blue Star Mothers NY 7 had the privilege of reading the names of those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001, during a moving ceremony at Gratwick Park in Tonawanda.

A heartfelt thank you to the Erie-Niagara Sunrise Exchange Club for hosting such a wonderful and meaningful event.

The 9/11 Memorial Healing Field will remain open to the public all weekend until Sunday at 11:00 AM. We encourage everyone in the community to visit, reflect, and honor the lives remembered here.

Honoring September 11th

Today, we solemnly mark the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001 — a day that forever changed our nation.

We honor the innocent lives tragically lost, and we hold their families in our hearts.

We also pay tribute to the first responders who ran toward danger at Ground Zero, showing unmatched courage, strength, and dedication. Their actions saved lives, inspired a nation, and demonstrated the true meaning of heroism.

As Blue Star Mothers NY 7, we remember.

Our Blue Star Mothers NY7 team had an absolute blast at the air show over Labor Day weekend! From watching the incredible dynamic performances overhead to connecting with so many amazing supporters at our booth, it was a weekend to remember.

Between the breathtaking aerial aerobatics, the stunning night show pyrotechnics, and the amazing crowd, we could not have asked for a better event. A huge THANK YOU to everyone who stopped by the Blue Star Mothers NY7 booth! Whether you dropped a contribution into our donation box, bought a challenge coin, created a card for a servicemember to go into our care packages in November, or simply took a moment to chat and learn about our mission to support our deployed military personnel and veterans, your generosity means the world to us and our service members. 💙❤️
