The 2026 Erie County Fair is complete. We started our day by being dispatched to two back to back structure fires in the Village of Hamburg. A few hours later we were dispatched to a structure fire in the Woodlawn section of Town. At the fairgrounds, it was Demolition Derby day. This year's Derby kept us busy with several vehicles fires, a rollover crash and a driver who suffered a minor injury. Thank you to Hamburg Volunteer Fire Department Scranton Volunteer Fire Company Colden Fire Company East Eden Fire Company North Collins Fire Company , Langford Fire Company Newton Abbott Fire Company, Inc. , Lake Shore Volunteer Fire Hillcrest Volunteer Fire Company Boston, Volunteer Fire Dept. - NY , Highland Hose Vol. Fire Company and Bowmansville Volunteer Fire Association for todays assistance. Thank you to every single fire company and Firefighter from ALL of the companies who assisted us over the last 12 days. Thank you to the Armor Volunteer Ladies Auxiliary for keeping us fed. Most of all thank you to our families for understanding our time commitment. See you next year Erie County Fair!

When the tones drop and the call goes out, boundary lines disappear. Thank you to all the volunteer fire companies who helped us by standing by during the Erie County Fair. Together we ensured life & property were protected.

Day 11 of The Erie County Fair is complete. Tonight with assistance from our mutual aid partbers, we provided protection during the "Ultimate Night of Destruction." We also responded to one in district EMS call. Thank you to Patchin Fire Company, Angola Fire Department, Windom Volunteer Fire Company, North Boston Volunteer Fire Company, Big Tree VFC, Orchard Park Fire Company, Woodlawn Fire Company, Scranton Volunteer Fire Company and Hamburg Volunteer Fire Department for todays assistance. One more day to go!

Day 10 of the Erie County Fair is complete. On the grounds we provided coverage during the Monster Truck show. Off the grounds we stayed busy. We were dispatched and canceled for a mutual aid fire alarm with Big Tree. We responded to a mutual aid EMS call for Hillcrest / Orchard Park EMS and we responded to a mutual aid car accident with Big Tree. Thank you to Lake Shore Volunteer Fire, Eden Fire Department #1, Seneca Hose Company #1, Scranton Volunteer Fire Companyand Hamburg Volunteer Fire Department for todays assistance

Day 9 of the Erie County Fair is complete. It was a much needed quite day. On the fairgrounds we assisted with a minor car accident. Thank you to Big Tree VFC (who assisted AMR with an EMS on the fairgrounds,) Langford-New Oregon Fire Company, Scranton Volunteer Fire Company and Hamburg Volunteer Fire Department for the assistance.
