🎉✨ What a Week at DVA! ✨🎉

The last week of school was packed with so many incredible events that it was nearly impossible to capture them all!

From our exciting House Sorting Celebration as we launched the DVA House System, to an Ice Cream Social for our DaVinci Den students, there was no shortage of smiles and memories being made. 🍦🏠

We celebrated our 8th grade students with a picnic and banquet as they prepare for their next chapter. 🎓 We cheered on our youngest learners during Kindergarten Graduation. 🎉 And one of our most cherished traditions, welcoming back our alumni to walk the halls in their cap and gown, reminded us just how far our students can go. 💙🎓

These moments are what make DVA special, a community where students are supported, celebrated, and encouraged every step of the way.

As we close out another amazing school year, we're grateful for the memories made, the milestones reached, and the sparks ignited along the way.

One of our most cherished DaVinci Academy traditions is welcoming our former students back through our doors one last time. This time wearing their caps and gowns.

As they walk the halls where their educational journey began, our current students are reminded of what is possible through hard work, perseverance, and a commitment to learning. It is a powerful full-circle moment that celebrates not only how far our graduates have come, but also the bright futures that lie ahead.

⚖️🏫 Real-World Learning in Middle School! 🏫⚖️

Our middle school students recently had the opportunity to hear from Heather Pilon, Anoka County Juvenile Attorney, about the juvenile justice system and the important work her office does in our community.

Students learned about how the juvenile court system works, the consequences of poor choices, the role of victims within the justice system, and how the County Attorney's Office serves the public.

Experiences like these help connect classroom learning to the real world while encouraging students to think critically about responsibility, decision-making, and citizenship.

🕶️📚 Stay Gold, DVA! 📚🕶️

Our middle school students recently finished reading The Outsiders and celebrated in style by dressing up as the Greasers and the Socs!

Getting in on the fun were our very own Middle School Principal, Mrs. Eggers, and ELA teacher, Mrs. Severson, who absolutely rocked their Outsiders looks! 😎

From leather jackets to Soc-style flair, it was a great way to bring literature to life and celebrate the characters, themes, and unforgettable story that students have been exploring in class.
