👏 Giving Back While Building Leaders! 👏

A big thank you to the young men and mothers of the YMSL Keller Chapter for spending their time volunteering at Midwest Food Bank Texas! Together, they helped repack potatoes that will be distributed to families facing food insecurity throughout our community.

By serving at Midwest Food Bank Texas, these students earned valuable service hours while making a real difference in the lives of others. Their hard work, teamwork, and commitment to serving others exemplify the mission of YMSL and the spirit of community service.

Every bag packed represents hope, nourishment, and support for a family in need. Thank you, YMSL Keller, for helping us fight hunger and strengthen our communities one volunteer hour at a time!

This summer, Comerica Bank is helping ensure families across North Texas continue to receive food and essential resources through its support of the “Hunger Doesn’t Take a Vacation” campaign with Midwest Food Bank Texas.

While school may be out for the summer, hunger is not. Thousands of children and families experience increased food insecurity during the summer months when school meal programs are unavailable. Through this partnership, Comerica Bank is helping Midwest Food Bank bridge that gap by providing critical support that will help distribute nutritious food and household essentials to nonprofit partners serving communities throughout the region.

“We are grateful for Comerica Bank’s partnership and commitment to serving our neighbors in need,” said Sam Thompson, Executive Director. “Their support helps provide hope and nourishment to thousands of individuals during the summer season.”

This summer, Midwest Food Bank Texas Division invites the community to help continue the fight against hunger. Donations and sponsorships can help provide more food boxes to families in need and allow even more surplus food to be rescued and redirected to children and families across North Texas.
