Our VFW family, headed by Ben Shipman and Crystal, has been collecting donations for the homeless in our area. We get together on Satudays to make food bags with sandwiches, chips, snacks and water. There are bags of dog food available as needed. Blankets and coats are coming in as donations, also. Ben gets his truck loaded up with all of that, grabs another volunteer, and they hit the streets. We are so blessed to be able to work together to help folks in our community.
