* CODE 3 CHRISTMAS - 2024 *
This year’s Code 3 Christmas with Hallsville Police & Fire will be held on Saturday, December 21st at 10:30 am.
Last year and thanks to the generous donations and support of our community and first responders, we were able to treat 35 local underprivileged children and their family to this uniquely special Christmas event!
Each child and their family were provided breakfast with first responders and community members, gift bags, stuffed animals, and blankets before a first class lights-and-siren ride to Walmart where each child was provided with a gift card to shop for Christmas gifts with their first responder in tow!
Donations may be made at City Hall to City Secretary Laura Welch or by contacting HPD Investigator David Burrows. 100% of donations are used to aid the kids and families.
Applications to have your child/children considered for selection for the event may be picked up at City Hall or by contacting Investigator David Burrows at Hallsville Police Department. Applications must be received no later than November 30, 2024. Referrals of children may be made directly to Investigator Burrows at Hallsville PD.
* Children must be of the ages 3 to 16 (Some exceptions may apply, such as special needs)
* Children must be Hallsville residents and/or attend Hallsville schools, Priority is given towards Hallsville residents
* If you have previously been selected for our Code 3 Christmas event, families/children who have not attended before will have priority in selection. Selection will be considered on an individual request basis by the group.
* Requests may be made by referral or application by the parent/guardian
* If you have applied to and/or have been accepted for a similar local program for this year, selection could be denied.
* Selection is not guaranteed by applying and will be determined by the group and dependent on available funds and resources.
* Completed applications must be received by Hallsville PD Investigator David Burrows no later than November 30th.
* Due to limited space and resources, only the selected child/children and approved parent/guardian (up to two adults) may be present during the event.
