First time families please come abt 12:30 if possible.

Our 1st Annual Susquehanna County Spelling Bee is already set — will your business join us as a sponsor? Fourth graders will enjoy an in-school, game-show style competition while fifth graders advance to a county grand finale at Blue Ridge School, with the champion earning $1,000. JANUARY Food Pantry
Tuesday January 6th 12-2:00pm (earlier if food runs out, we can only serve what is sent to us)

Pantries are DRIVE THRU.

If you have Not attended you can stop in the office to sign up.
Unfortunately we do not do delivery for the pantries, if you have someone who can pick it up that’s fine.

We try to do our food pantries each month , the first Tuesday of the month but due to any inclement weather or postponements it will be posted on this page or call our phone at 570-229-9598 and listen to the voicemail the morning of the Food Pantry and there will be any updates there .
Our 2026 calendar will stay the same , food pantries will be the first Tuesday of each month from 12:00- 2:00 or earlier stop if we run out of products.

Great Bend, Pa Mobile Food pantry will be Tuesday, December 30, 2025.

The location for Dec. Jan and Feb will be at the Bridgewater Baptist Church on Ny Ave. Rt 7, Hallstead, Pa. It is located a short distance from the American Legion on the right.
From 11:30 to 1:30.

If the weather is really bad we will not have the distribution for this month.

Great Bend mobile food pantry will be Dec 30th. From 11:30-1:30 at the Bridgewater Church in Hallstead. This is a newer location and a different date and time than usual. Also,if school is cancelled, there will not be a distribution that month. Please plan accordingly .

This is just a heads up post! We are doing our best to get the word out .

The Great Bend Pa mobile food pantry will be Tuesday, November 25, 2025 . From 11-1

First time families please arrive around 12:15 to fill out Paperwork

Park in the Catholic Church parking where you willl then
Be directed to the Great Bend fire station for the distribution.

Announcements. Dec food bank will be on a different date and location than normal. It will be at the Bridgewater Baptist Church on Rt 7. New York Ave. Just past the American Legion in Hallstead. On the right coming from town.
The hours will be 11:30 to 1:30.

Also, if there is a school cancellation at Blue Ridge school on the food truck day..there will be NO. Food truck that month. Please plan accordingly, so you can attend elsewhere.

January truck will be back to the normal 4th Tuesday . We will be at Bridgewater. Dec, Jan and Feb.
