A new school year is just around the corner!

To all of the students, teachers, school staff, bus drivers, coaches, and families preparing for the first day, we're wishing you a wonderful year ahead.

Whether you're starting kindergarten, beginning your senior year, or stepping into a new classroom for the first time, remember:

💙 Be curious.
💙 Believe in yourself.
💙 Never be afraid to ask for help.

Every new school year is a chance to learn something new, make new friends, and discover just how capable you are.

This weeks Tennis Club lesson came with a very True Colors teaching technique…

Our players learned how to hit a backhand tonight, and apparently Hailey getting pied in the face last week provided the perfect example for learning how to hold the racket and follow through with a swing. Who knew getting pied would be so educational?

But the real win was seeing how much everyone has learned!

By the end of the night, our players were using the full court, putting their new skills into practice, and knew the rules well enough to really start playing the game.

And there’s still one more week to go!

We’ll wrap up Tennis Club on Tuesday, September 1 with our tournament, where everyone will get the chance to put all the skills they’ve learned over the past few weeks to the test.

Watching their confidence grow from week to week has been so much fun. A huge thank you to everyone who came out tonight and to the people who continue to make TC Tuesdays such a fun place to learn, laugh, and try something new.

What a week at the Harford Fair!

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth, got creative with us, entered our raffle, supported True Colors, or simply took a few minutes to learn more about what we do.

And a HUGE thank you to all of our volunteers who helped make the week possible. We couldn't have done it without you!

We may have left the Fair exhausted and slightly tie-dyed 😂, but mostly we're just incredibly grateful for another amazing week with our community.

Until next year, Harford Fair! 💜

We're back on the courts tonight for another fun evening of TC Tuesdays Tennis Club, and we can't wait to see everyone!

Whether you've joined us the last two weeks or you're thinking about coming for the very first time, we'd love to have you. Every week is a chance to learn new skills, stay active, and enjoy time with friends in a fun and encouraging environment.

1,000 FOLLOWERS = PROMISE KEPT!

WE DID IT!!!

True Colors officially hit 1,000 followers on Facebook, and if you’ve been following along, you know exactly what that meant for our director, Hailey…

She made a promise.
We hit 1K.
And the kids came to COLLECT.

A few of our True Colors kids stopped by to make sure Hailey held up her end of the deal, and well… we’ll let the video speak for itself.

All jokes (and whipped cream) aside, 1,000 followers is a pretty incredible milestone for us. Every follow, share, comment and interaction helps more people in our community learn about True Colors, our programs, our events and what we’re working to build for local kids and families.

Thank you to every single one of you who helped us get here.

And a VERY special thank you to Hailey for being such a good sport and keeping her promise.

A few of our young creators have been coming back to the fair wearing the shirts they made with us earlier this week, and getting to see their finished creations has been pretty special.

Today is the LAST DAY of the Harford Fair, which means it’s also your last chance to stop by the True Colors booth and make a tie-dye creation of your own.

Come find us under the grandstand, make something fun, and help us finish out an incredible fair week with plenty of color.

And to everyone who has stopped by, made a shirt, talked with us, supported True Colors, or came back to show us the finished product: thank you for making this week so much fun.

There’s still time to add a little more color to your week!

We’ve been having so much fun at the Harford Fair watching everyone choose their colors, create their designs, and see what they can make at our tie-dye booth.

If tie-dye is still on your fair week list, come find True Colors under the grandstand and make one with us!

We’ll be here Friday and Saturday, so there’s still time to join in the fun before the fair comes to an end.
