🎉 Community Well-Being Day at Hallowell Food Pantry! 🎉

Today, we were grateful to welcome volunteers from Camden National Bank who took on several projects at the pantry as part of their Community Well-Being Day.

First up: Sydney Darveau, Jaime Bernard, and Paige Williams assembled Birthday Boxes! 🎂✨
Each box includes everything needed to bake a cake—plus candles for a full celebration.

They also took on other helpful projects and we’re so thankful for their time and teamwork. 💛

Gardiner Federal Credit Union raised a whopping $35,800 for area food banks, soup kitchens, and pantries—including the Hallowell Food Pantry! 💛

Because of their support, we can keep pace with higher food prices and higher enrollment numbers, so more neighbors have access to the food they need.

Thank you for standing with our community!

Last week, Hall-Dale Middle School students participated in the United Way Day of Caring, and we were so grateful to welcome their help at our pantry!

One group of talented students created colorful posters to brighten the pantry and make it easier for customers to find what they need. They truly took their time and put so much care into every detail.

Thank you to all the students and staff involved for your generosity and community spirit. We appreciate you!

A huge thank you to Charlie's Subaru in Augusta and their generous customers💛

Last month, they held a food drive to support local food pantries, and this week the Hallowell Food Pantry was honored to receive 218 pounds of high-quality food for our clients.

Community partnerships like this help us keep our shelves stocked and ensure that local families have access to nutritious food when they need it most. We are grateful for the support, kindness, and generosity shown by everyone who contributed!

Last month, our amazing customers and community came together to support our annual food drive, and we're proud to share that we've delivered those donations to the Hallowell Food Pantry and the Winthrop Food Pantry - Maine.

Thank you again to everyone who contributed and helped us support these incredible organizations and the important work they do for local families. Your generosity makes a real difference, and we're grateful to be part of such a caring community.

We want to send a big thank you to Maggie Paluski for her generous donation to the Hallowell Food Pantry🎉

Yesterday, Maggie delivered 139 pounds of groceries. She’s a regular, and it’s always wonderful to see her stop by on her way to work on Fridays.

Because she shops thoughtfully, our customers will be able to stock up on a great mix of tasty foods — thank you, Maggie💛
