✨ Investing in Our Students. Supporting Our Teachers. Strengthening Our Future. ✨
The Hallettsville Education Foundation recently awarded our 2026 Spring Mini-Grants to incredible educators across Hallettsville ISD ! 🎉
Because of the generosity of our community and the success of our fundraisers, we are able to turn dollars raised into real classroom impact—supporting innovative ideas that directly benefit our students. ❤️
Here are this year’s grant recipients:
🐂 PreK Teachers – Sensory Learning for PreK & 3-Year-Old Program
Sensory tools and adaptive learning materials to support early childhood development and inclusive learning environments.
🐂 Ashley Jett-Janacek, HJH – Intro to Trades (New Class)
Hands-on engineering and construction kits to introduce students to real-world trade skills and career pathways.
🐂 Serena Zurovetz, HJH – Write, Think, Grow
A collaborative dry-erase table designed to enhance small group instruction, writing skills, and student engagement.
🐂 Mendy Baker, HJH – Growing Critical Thinkers with Byrdseed
Access to TEKS-aligned lessons and resources that promote deeper thinking, creativity, and real-world problem solving.
🐂 Steven Drozd, HHS – Rockets Project
A hands-on physics experience where students design, build, and launch rockets while learning key STEM principles.
🐂 Megan Bruton, HHS – Utilizing Technology in the English Classroom
Classroom headphones to expand individualized learning through audiobooks, writing tools, and digital resources.
💡 These projects go beyond traditional learning—bringing creativity, innovation, and hands-on experiences directly into the classroom.
❤️ While we are not part of the school’s operating budget, the Hallettsville Education Foundation exists to bridge the gap—funding opportunities that might not otherwise be possible and investing directly in our teachers and students.
