Today and Tomorrow!

Make litter busting a family affair. Halifax's ballfields, playgrounds and town beaches need litter busting as well as busy roadways. Stop by the Town Hall between 9am-4pm today and/or 1pm-4pm tomorrow to get trash bags and gloves and borrow grabbers and safety vests. A one hour commitment can mean 1-2 bags of litter removed.

Pizza will be available at noon today donated by Cape Cod Pizza.

Please Help Halifax Become Litter Free!

The first 1,500 feet of Route 106 in Halifax from the Plympton was litter busted this morning. Could someone try to litter bust the first 1,500 feet along Route 58 coming from Plympton this weekend. When entering a town, it's nice to see litter free roads.

The HBC Fall Clean-Up is October 10th, 9-am to 4pm and October 11th 1pm-4pm. Stop by the Halifax Town Hall during those times to pick up litter busting supplies.

Pizza donated by Cape Cod Cafe will be available to litter busters at noon on Saturday🦋🦋🦋🦋

Route 36 in Halifax was litter busted from the railroad tracks to Aldana Road. Is anyone missing a black bike with red trim? One is under some briars across the street from 275 Holmes St.

Please help Halifax be litter free. HBC's Fall Clean-Up is this weekend.

Route 36 from Oak Street to the railroad tracks was litter busted today for the 5th time since March 9th. 181 nips were picked up along this short section of road during that time.

The Halifax Beautification Committee will hold its Fall Clean Up on October 10th and 11th. Please, help litter bust your neighborhood and/or your favorite Halifax park or beach.

Next weekend will be the Halifax Beautification Committee 's Fall Clean-Up on October 10th from 9am-4pm and October 11th from 1pm-4pm by the front steps of the Town Hall.

Do you realize that Halifax is part of several watersheds? Water flows out of West Monponsett via Stump Brook eventually getting to the Taunton River which then flows into the Narragansett Bay. Water that naturally flows out of Silver Lake travels down the Jones River into Duxbury Harbor.

Therefore, it is important not just to Halifax but to a much wider geographic area to clean-up the litter along our roadways and waterways.

Bags and gloves will be given out. Grabbers and safety vests will be available to borrow. Cape Cod Cafe is donating their yummy pizza for a noon time litter buster gathering at noon on Saturday at the Town Hall.
