Entries for the 2026 Harvest Days 4-H Poultry Project are now open and close at 5pm on Saturday, May 16th, 2026 and Chicks should be available for pick-up after 2pm on Monday, May 18th!
The project will end with our show on Saturday, October 17th during our annual Harvest Days Festival at the 4-H Rural Life Center.
This year you may chose 2 brown egg laying pullets, hopefully Silver Laced Wyandottes, and/or 2 UNSEXED Bantam chicks - bantams are too small to s*x early in life. You have the option of two chicks of the same breed for $15, or 2 chicks of BOTH breeds (4 total) for $25, payable at chick pick-up. You will received a small bag of starter feed with your chicks, but will need to provide your own waterer, feeder, heat lamp, and brooding box.
Register today to be a part of the fun!
Join in the fun! Register by noon Saturday, May 16th at 5pm. Chicks will be ready for pick-up after 2pm on Monday, May 18th at the Extension office.
