Halifax County 4-H

4-H is a voluntary, informal education program for boys and girls who are ages 9-19 by September 30 of the current year. We make the best better!

🦋 Budding Naturalists: Cloverbud Day Camp

For week one, the budding naturalists explored nature and their five senses! They tried to identify mystery nature items in the mystery box, matched secret scents using their noses, decorated and made a rain stick, and went on a fun nature hike to identify different sights, smells, sounds, and textures found in nature!

Our participants had a BLAST! Can’t wait to see what’s in store for our next lesson.

🍫 For the fourth lesson of the 4-H Spring Baking Extravaganza, bakers finally got their wish and got to make something chocolate!! There were smiles all around for this Double Chocolate Chip Loaf ☺️

🦋🐝 Calling all young explorers...Registration is now open for Budding Naturalists Cloverbud Day Camp series. Join us each Tuesday in June for hands-on outdoor fun as we discover nature through games, activities, crafts, exploration, and more!
