🥎 2026-2027 Coaching Opportunity 🥎

Halfmoon Girls Softball is looking to bring on a former college softball player as a non-parent coach for the 2026-2027 season. This is a paid coaching position designed for someone with playing experience who is interested in coaching one of our travel teams next season and developing athletes in a competitive environment.

If you are a former player looking to stay involved in the game or know someone who would be a strong fit for our program, we would like to hear from you.

What an incredible experience - today, a few of our 10U and 12U Halfmoon players had the amazing opportunity to work with Duke University standout softball player turned AUSL pro — Ana Gold! 🥎🤩

A huge thank you to Upstate Sports Academy for putting on such an amazing clinic. Getting to learn directly from a player known for her massive power at the plate and elite infield highlights is something these girls won't forget anytime soon. We love seeing our players put in the extra work to elevate their game! 💪🏼🖤⚡️

Big congratulations to Justin Poleski on being named the Jerry Lauver Volunteer of the Year Award recipient!

Justin spends countless hours at our fields making sure everything is ready for our players—creating a safe, welcoming, and memorable experience for all of our girls. His dedication behind the scenes does not go unnoticed, and Miss Shen Softball is better because of him.

We’d also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Jerry Lauver’s wife, Sue, and his daughter, Karen Schunk, for joining us to present this award. It’s a special way to honor Jerry’s legacy and recognize the volunteers who carry that same spirit forward.
