As some of you know or might have heard, I am trying to raise funds for two organizations that I sit on boards for: HMBLL AND THE HMB PIRATES. All proceeds go to these two wonderful organizations.

Rather than just ask for donations, I’ve decided to raffle off donated items, here is a list of what we have. We’d love for you to be the winner of one of these amazing donated prizes.

HMBLL needs to purchase much needed equipment, and of course we have many more needs, every dollar helps.

HMB PIRATE: is a travel team, and our 12U team is raising money for their Summer trip to Omaha. We are still ways away from reaching our goal to fund the trip, but with the support of many of you, we will accomplish that this goal.

The following is a list of prizes we have available for the raffle.

We have received an overwhelming support for this hat design. We will be ordering out first ever hats this week. We want to make sure they get here for the Holidays. At this time we have adult sizes sm/md and L/xl. However, if we receive enough interest we could order youth xl size, please let me know as soon as possible if you are interest in one. The price will be $25 per.

Thank you.

Today is a great day to be giving to charities, I thank all those that are donating to these great causes. As you know, I’m trying to raise some funds for & , I’m hoping that you consider purchasing at least one raffle ticket, one $20 ticket gets you two entries. I am hoping to have more than 20 tickets purchased. I am looking to get some other items donated to include in this raffle. I have contacted Jersey Joe’s management and they welcome us to come eat and drink before we raffle off the items. In addition to the bat/Fungo, I’ll I cause an original Humba Bat Baseball hat if we sell 30, and a jacket if we sell 40, these items are in addition to any other donation I can acquire. Thanks for your support.

We appreciate all your help.

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. In the season of giving thanks, I’m thankful for so many people that I’d hate neglect anyone in this post, so instead I’ll thank those that recently bought tickets for a raffle supporting the 12U Blue Baseball Cooperstown fundraising efforts. It’s a privilege, not a right, to be part of these travel teams, so we appreciate all the efforts by everyone to help make this possible for these lucky and fortunate kids.

The Fungo I made generated $420 towards that goal, we sold 21 tickets at $20 per. The entire amount goes towards the 12U Blue expense. I was stunned at the amount we raised, and very thankful as well. But, in the season of giving it made me ponder how I could attempt to give something back to those that supported this effort, so I came up with an idea to do another raffle, but this time we will be raffling a Fungo and a custom made bat. The entire amount raised once again would go to a charitable organization. The price of the ticket will be the same amount $20, each ticket will receive two entries with an opportunity to win both custom made items.

I would like to split the donation money between and the organization to help us purchase much needed necessities. The share would cover spending money for the kids when they travel to Omaha next Summer. I hope that you can support this effort. If we generate enough support, I’m hoping to have the raffle at Jersey Joes in Half Moon Bay. You will not need to be present to win, but it would be nice. If you are local, ie as far north as Windsor(Corey Cleland) and as far south as San Gregorio( Mark Modena) I’ll gladly deliver.

Thanks for your support.
