There’s something truly magical about evenings at the Big Wave Farm 🌊✨

Our firepit area is now glowing with beautiful string lights, creating a warm and welcoming space where our community can relax, connect, and enjoy the ocean breeze. Whether it’s sharing stories, roasting marshmallows, or simply soaking in the peaceful coastal air, this little corner of the farm has quickly become a favorite.

Moments like these remind us how powerful simple joys can be 💛🔥

The landscaping is underway at the Big Wave Center, and it’s already looking absolutely beautiful. 🌿✨

Every path, plant, and open space is coming together to create a welcoming, peaceful environment for the adults we serve.

We can’t wait to see this space come to life — a place for growth, connection, and community. Stay tuned for more updates as we get closer to opening!

So grateful to welcome 40+ members of the EY team back to Big Wave for their bi-annual Day of Service 💙

As part of their global corporate responsibility program, EY volunteers joined our board members, parents, and future residents to roll up their sleeves and make a real impact.

Together, they:
🌱 Prepped our hops for the season—building a sustainable coconut rope trellis and clearing weeds
🌿 Revitalized our wagon wheel herb garden
🌸 Planted herbs, lavender, blueberries, and flowers
🌤 Installed shade canopies and spread mulch across the grounds
🪧 Hung our beautiful new sign

It was a day full of teamwork, purpose, and community spirit. Thank you, for continuing to show up and grow with us!

What an amazing day at Farm Day at Big Wave Farm! We were so grateful to be joined by Stanford University alumni and our incredible Big Wave Co-op members.
We got so much done today, from finishing up the firepits (can’t wait for those hot dog roasts and marshmallow toasts) to planting zucchini, kale, artichokes, and sweet potatoes. And we kicked off our pumpkin patch!
The greenhouse looks amazing too, with seeds already sprouting! We also rebuilt our wagon-wheel herb garden, mulched, amended the soil, and tidied up and painted the sheds, so everything feels fresh and vibrant.
A huge THANK YOU to the Stanford Alumni for all your hard work and dedication to our farm! You made this day so special and productive. We’re looking forward to seeing these projects grow!

CULINARY DIRECTOR/EXECUTIVE CHEF
Lead the launch of a brand-new commercial kitchen. This is more than a chef role—you’ll create nourishing meals, build systems, and shape a daily dining experience that brings people together. You’ll serve around 40 adults and their caregivers, making every meal special.

ENRICHMENT COORDINATOR
Design and deliver engaging opportunities that inspire connection, creativity, and personal growth. From social and recreational activities to vocational opportunities, you’ll help create joyful, purposeful days for the individuals we serve.
