You may have heard of the Haleyville Rotary Club, but do you know what we’re all about?

Rotary is made up of local people who believe in Service Above Self. We work together to make a difference in our community through projects that support our children, families, schools, local organizations, and those in need. 🎁❤️

From Toys for Kids, scholarships, community projects, fundraisers, and supporting local causes, our goal is simple — to make Haleyville a better place for everyone.

And the best part? You don’t have to know everything about Rotary or have experience in community service to get involved! We would love to meet people who want to make a difference, build friendships, and be part of something bigger than themselves.

Rotary International (often called the Rotary Club) is a worldwide service organization made up of local clubs whose members volunteer to improve their communities and help people around the world.

🔹 Founded: 1905 in Chicago
🔹 Members: 1.4+ million members worldwide
🔹 Purpose: “Service Above Self”
🔹 Focus Areas:
• Fighting disease (like polio)
• Supporting education
• Providing clean water
• Promoting peace
• Helping local communities

Each Rotary Club is local (Haleyville Rotary Club ), but they’re all connected under Rotary International.

One of their biggest achievements is helping lead the global effort to nearly eradicate polio worldwide.

Members meet regularly to organize service projects, come up with fundraising ideas, and give out local scholarships. Toys For Kids is a big project for Haleyville Rotary Club!
