Rotary International (often called the Rotary Club) is a worldwide service organization made up of local clubs whose members volunteer to improve their communities and help people around the world.

🔹 Founded: 1905 in Chicago
🔹 Members: 1.4+ million members worldwide
🔹 Purpose: “Service Above Self”
🔹 Focus Areas:
• Fighting disease (like polio)
• Supporting education
• Providing clean water
• Promoting peace
• Helping local communities

Each Rotary Club is local (Haleyville Rotary Club ), but they’re all connected under Rotary International.

One of their biggest achievements is helping lead the global effort to nearly eradicate polio worldwide.

Members meet regularly to organize service projects, come up with fundraising ideas, and give out local scholarships. Toys For Kids is a big project for Haleyville Rotary Club!

It’s time to kick off the 2024 Toys for Kid’s!!! Be on the lookout for more information!!!! Applications will be available to pick-up from Monday November 18-Tuesday December 3rd! Deadline for the application drop off will be December 3rd at closing of each business. Please help us get the word out to make this year bigger than EVER!
