Their hard work, dedication, and perseverance throughout recruit training were on full display as they officially completed this achievement.

This month we would like to recognize YM LCpl Farias for delivering an outstanding Drug Demand Reduction (DDR) presentation on the dangers of alcohol during drill.

YM LCpl Farias did a great job leading an engaging and educational session for the unit. As part of the presentation, a few of our Young Marines and Recruits were selected to participate in practice scenarios, demonstrating different ways to confidently say “no” to alcohol when faced with peer pressure. These role-playing exercises helped everyone think about real-life situations and how to make healthy, responsible choices.

To wrap up the lesson, YM LCpl Farias also led a fun interactive game session that reinforced the key points of the presentation and helped make the learning experience fun and memorable for everyone.

Thank you, YM LCpl Farias, for your leadership, preparation, and commitment to helping fellow Young Marines understand the importance of making safe and responsible decisions. Great job representing the leadership and values of the Young Marines program!
