Ocean Friendly Restaurants Hawaiʻi

Ocean Friendly Restaurants Hawaiʻi Ocean Friendly Restaurants Hawaiʻi is a state-wide effort to promote restaurants who help protect our oceans by reducing their use of single-use plastics.

OFR Hawaiʻi is a volunteer-led effort by Surfrider Foundation's Hawaii Chapters (Oahu, Maui, Kauai, Kona, and Hilo) to promote restaurants that reduce plastic and implement ocean friendly practices. OFR Hawaiʻi was modeled after the Ocean Friendly Restaurants campaign started by the San Diego chapter of Surfrider Foundation. OFR Hawaiʻi is a joint effort between the local Hawai’i Chapters of Surfr

ider Foundation and the Rise Above Plastics Coalition including Kōkua Hawaiʻi Foundation, Maui Huliau Foundation, Styrophobia, Sierra Club of Hawaiʻi, Conservation Council for Hawaiʻi and Sustainable Coastlines Hawaiʻi.

Will clean the beach at Magic Island, then we’ll go to , one of our most supportive Ocean Friendly Restaurants, for their new Earth Day brew called earth to Beer!
