North Shore Killa Papio Tournament

It is with deep sadness that we share this about our brother Kalae Branco. He has been a backbone of support to our fishing hui and sometimes emcee at our tournament. Personally, he is a brother, ohana and loyal trusted friend.

An altercation earlier this month left Kalae fighting for his life and that battle continues as we pray for a recovery outcome.

From a record high field of 33 entries in the 7th Annual North Shore Killa Papio Tournament in memory of Sion Milosky all the winning boats happened to be on the same scoreboard. First Place Biggest Papio 9.8lbs and also taking the side bet prize for their 13.6 Ulua was the crew from Hook It Up. 2nd Biggest Papio was reeled by the crew of the Ivory R. with their 9.6lbs Papio. 3rd Place with the 3rd Biggest Papio a 9.4lbs prize was the crew from Baby Blue.

In the Total Weight class for the most lbs of 25pieces or less Papio - the crew from the C-Lite Express moved up a place bettering their rank from last year's contest taking the 4th place prize with their 39.2lbs of Papio. In 5th Place with the 2nd best total weight was the crew from the Elizabeth S. with 35.8lbs of Papio.
