"You don't have to know how to play tennis before you take a lesson. You just have to be willing to learn.
I believe good coaching starts with understanding the person behind the racquet. Every player is different, so I adapt to how you learn, how you naturally play, and what your game needs—from technique and footwork to strategy, confidence, and decision-making.
Whether you're picking up a racquet for the first time, getting back into tennis, playing recreationally, or ready to compete, we start where you are. For juniors, that means creating tennis pathways that can grow with the player - starting with fundamentals and confidence, to junior team tennis, high school competition, and tournament competition. Adaptive programming and social-emotional learning are incorporated when appropriate.
For adults, that means league play and tournament competition, or simply having fun, getting exercise, and meeting new people.
In Haines City, I'm building on the tennis community that already exists, while creating more opportunities to learn, play, connect, and improve."
Welcome to the team, Ramona!
