🐑 The Trailing of the Sheep Festival begins today! As we celebrate the valley’s sheep ranching traditions, please be aware that bands of sheep are also moving through the area for fall migration.

BCRD does not currently have confirmed sheep locations or movement updates. You may encounter sheep on roads or trails throughout the Wood River Valley, so plan for possible delays and allow extra travel time. 🚗🥾🚲

If you come across a band, slow down, give sheep and herders plenty of space, and wait for directions before passing. Keep dogs leashed and well away from sheep and working dogs, and avoid walking or riding through the flock.

Thank you for your patience and for helping everyone move safely through the valley! 💙

Some BCRD traditions are decades old. Others are just getting started. 💙

Since opening in 2018, Quigley Trails Park has become a place to ride, explore, and spend time together. 🚲🌿 As we celebrate 50 years of BCRD, places like Quigley remind us that recreation keeps growing alongside our community.

⚠️ Quigley Loop Trail Closure ⚠️

Quigley Loop is closed Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–4:00 pm, until further notice.

Crews are building the new connecting trail off Golden Hour on a steep slope directly above Quigley Loop and the farm road. Rocks and debris could fall onto the trail below during construction. 🚧

Please respect the closure and stay clear of the work area. Crews hope to finish this section by early next week, but the closure remains in effect until further notice.

Thank you for your patience and for helping keep everyone safe! 💙
