The new 4-H year has officially started! Below is the registration information and deadlines. Please let me know if you have any questions.

🚨Enrollment for 26-27 4-H year opens October 1st! Deadline May 1st or market animal weigh in (whichever comes first)
Completed ZSUITE REGISTRATION and PAYMENT must be done for the account to be active.
Registration must be completed before species weigh in or May 1st, whichever is first.

💰Payment:
Registration fees are $30 until 12/31/2026 and $40 starting 01/01/2027. Cloverbuds are $20.
Market animals members pay $8.50 per animal weighed in and horse members pay $3 in addition to registration fee.
Payment can be made online at https://client.pointandpay.net/web/BlaineCounty4HExtension or at the office.

🍀Distinguished Service Award🍀

Katie Wilding has served as a dedicated 4-H leader for the past five years, making a lasting impact on youth and the Silver Creek 4-H community. During that time, she has led the Market Swine project, Sh***un, and Archery programs, while also serving as the Blaine County 4H secretary for the past several years. Katie’s connection to 4-H began long before she became a leader. Growing up in Carey, she was an active 4-H member herself, raising pigs and experiencing firsthand the opportunities that 4-H provides. After moving back to the area nine and a half years ago, she was eager to give back to the program that helped shape her. Although her family moved away this past spring, Katie has continued to support the club from a distance and remains involved whenever they are back in town. Her commitment to the youth she serves has never been limited by location. Katie is passionate about helping young people succeed. She genuinely cares about every member and works tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure her projects provide meaningful learning experiences. She believes 4-H is about much more than completing the minimum requirements—it’s about helping young people build confidence, develop responsibility, learn valuable life skills, and grow into capable, caring adults. Her dedication, servant leadership, and unwavering commitment to the success of 4-H members make her a truly deserving recipient of the Distinguished Service Award. 🍀Will Neal Award🍀

Stockton has been involved in 4-H for nine years. He began his 4-H journey by raising pigs for three years before transitioning to the steer project. Except for one year, Stockton has raised his own steer from his personal cow herd. Through this experience, he has learned firsthand the value of responsibility, patience, hard work, dedication, and perseverance. Outside of 4-H, Stockton has been involved in sports throughout his life. He was a member of the back-to-back 1A State Championship football teams during his junior and senior years of high school. In 2025, he was named Idaho 1A State Football Player of the Year and served as a co-captain of his team. Stockton also participated in student government throughout high school, demonstrating his commitment to leadership and serving others. This September, Stockton will begin a two-year mission in El Salvador for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Stockton has truly valued the impact 4-H has had on his life. Through 4-H, he has learned that success comes from hard work, dedication, responsibility, and perseverance. The lessons, friendships, and experiences he has gained through 4-H will continue to influence him as he moves into the next chapter of his life.
