Building a more connected community starts with the smallest choice—a simple "hello" on a morning walk, checking in on a friend after a major life transition, or passing along a helpful local resource to a neighbor in need. Looking out for one another is how we build a more connected community.

That’s why we created the TogetherWe Community Hub—one central space built by this community, for this community. Backed by over 60 partner organizations, the Hub isn't just another platform competing for screen time; it's a dedicated tool designed to bring us closer together, share resources, and help everyone in Blaine County be more connected.

We recently welcomed four colleagues from Steamboat Springs, Colorado, for a three-day learning exchange with over 25 Blaine County partners. Our guests represented the Yampa Valley Community Foundation, the Health Partnership, High Country Response, and the Routt County Co-Response Team.

Together, we exchanged ideas about su***de prevention, co-response, first responder peer support, community support after sudden loss, and collective impact. We’re grateful for the chance to learn from each other and build on what’s already working in our communities. Thank you to the Katz Amsterdam Foundation for making this important collaboration possible!

Strong communities take care and effort. They grow when someone shows up for an event, volunteers, or invites a new person along. Those moments are happening all over our community, but finding a way to be part of them can be challenging. Opportunities to get involved are often scattered across flyers, newsletters, group chats, and social posts.

TogetherWe’s work to strengthen mental well-being begins with helping people connect, with one another and with the resources they need. We created the Community Hub to make local groups, events, and volunteer opportunities easier to find. It’s a tool meant to help you spend less time searching and more time taking part in life here in our beautiful valley!

Thank you, everyone, who joined us for the 2026 Hike for Hope! 🥾💛 And many, many thanks to our Volunteers, everyone who had a table at the resource garden, and to our Sponsors, who made this event possible!

Whether you hiked in honor of a loved one, for your own journey, or to support mental health awareness in our community, your presence mattered. Together, we proved that su***de prevention belongs to all of us and no one has to struggle alone.

The Hike for Hope is on for tomorrow, and we’re excited! Our weather pattern appears to be improving; tomorrow's report shows Partly Sunny with a chance of showers. Temperatures are expected to range from 45–60 degrees, so please dress in layers and bring a rain shell. Today's rain should give us great traction and keep the dust down. If lightning develops, we will alter the course as necessary to keep everyone safe.

Check-in is from 8–9 a.m., and the hike begins at 9 a.m. After your hike, join us in the Resource Garden. Lunch begins at 11 a.m., and prizes will be awarded at noon. We can’t wait to see you!

📍 Location: Hop Porter Park (126 Bullion St, Hailey, ID)

🚫 Pets: Please leave pets at home.

Schedule
8:00 AM - 9:00 AM: Check-in/ Registration at Hop Porter Park (Under the White Arch) and enjoy free coffee and pastries.

9:00 AM: Hike Starts

9:00 AM – 1:00 PM: Resource Garden, live music, 11:00 AM Free Light Lunch Provided by Rotary

11:30 AM Mission Moment

12:00 PM: Awards & Closing Remarks
