WE BELIEVE THAT TODAY’S YOUTH ARE OUR FUTURE LEADERS
Vision of the Youth Mentoring Group strives to empower adolescents through mentorship and positive youth development. Our organization covers topics that will allow the teens to explore their individuality. We cover various topics; such as, life skills, education, goal setting, decision making, self-awareness, and emotional and physical development.
Varies topics will be discussed each meeting during our mentoring groups. These groups have been designed to create an open forum for the youth to openly express themselves and ask questions as they go through their own self-discovery. There will be a variety of activities that will be incorporated to pertain to the group topics.
In addition, the youth will have the opportunity to make a difference in their community through service. They will be provided opportunities to explore leadership through activities they will participate in with their mentors. The youth will lead several community service events throughout the year that will allow them to put their leadership skills they have learned to use.
