Calling all Musicians! We would love to have you join us this summer. Enrollment is still open for our Beginning Guitar Academy taking place June 22-25 from 9 am to Noon, for our String Orchestra Academy taking place June 22-25 from 9 am to 4 pm, for our Making a Rock Band Academy taking place July 13-23 from 9 am to 4 pm, for our Intermediate/Advance Guitar Academy taking place July 20-23 from 9 am to Noon, and for our Intermediate/Advanced Piano Academy taking place July 27-30 from 9 am to 4 pm.

All academies are held at the Barbara Ingram School for the Arts in downtown Hagerstown.

Curious about joining the Maryland Symphony Youth Orchestra?

Students and families are invited to join us for an open rehearsal and information session to experience MSYO in action, meet members of the program, and learn more about auditions for the upcoming season.

Led by conductor Dr. Britney Alcine, MSYO brings together talented young musicians from across the region for high-level orchestral training, performance opportunities, and a vibrant musical community.
