Through Sep 1st T1D Youth across Tennessee can apply to be part of the coming school year's program. Youth Ambassadors are voices and faces for T1D across the state of Tennessee, advocating, educating, and inspiring others to help us cure, prevent and treat Type 1 Diabetes!

Advocates Needed. Advocates are state-wide volunteers that use the most powerful tool they have, their own personal stories, to communicate to our nation’s leaders the financial, medical, and emotional costs of T1D. Use your voice to help secure Federal funding for important diabetes research, inform health and regulatory policy, and improve the quality of life for those affected by T1D until we find cures.

Our Tennessee Galas are over and we want to thank everyone who helped make this year such an incredible success. According to Jonathon Reckles, a diabetic alert dog for his son won't be covered by insurance, and will cost $20,000 to $30,000. Local businesses in Franklin have donated around $3,000 worth of prizes for the family to raffle off.
