Advocates Needed. Advocates are state-wide volunteers that use the most powerful tool they have, their own personal stories, to communicate to our nation’s leaders the financial, medical, and emotional costs of T1D. Use your voice to help secure Federal funding for important diabetes research, inform health and regulatory policy, and improve the quality of life for those affected by T1D until we find cures.

Signing up to be an Advocate takes less than a minute and helps us get closer to our vision, a world without Type 1 Diabetes!

Our Tennessee Galas are over and we want to thank everyone who helped make this year such an incredible success. We raised over $2 Million for Type 1 Diabetes research across Tennessee this year and it would not have been possible without our amazing sponsors, donors, and volunteers all committed to our vision, a world without T1D!

Thank you to Mason and the Reckles Family! Your walk team, Mason's Sugar Mates, is dedicated to helping us find a cure and your hard work is inspiring everyone to help you in your pursuit of an alert dog for T1D. Robb Coles NewsChannel 5

According to Jonathon Reckles, a diabetic alert dog for his son won't be covered by insurance, and will cost $20,000 to $30,000. Local businesses in Franklin have donated around $3,000 worth of prizes for the family to raffle off.
