We have more children to add, and every sponsorship helps a child know they are seen, loved, and supported.

Our missions team is also partnering with the village to build a high school, creating opportunities for students to continue their education and dream about their future.

One of the most beautiful things about the children at El Shaddai School is not only that they are learning and growing—with their hearts grounded in strong Christian teaching—but that they truly love one another.

Every visit, I’m struck by their genuine affection. They lean on each other, wrap their arms around one another (and us), and give love so freely—expecting nothing in return. It’s pure. It’s unfiltered. It’s real.

In a world that often feels rushed and disconnected, these children are a powerful reminder of what truly matters—love, connection, and caring deeply for others.

When you choose to sponsor a child, you’re not just supporting their education—you’re investing in a community where children are nurtured, known, and loved. You become part of something that is shaping hearts as much as minds.

Could you please add us to your prayer list?

As we begin planning for the 2027 mission, we are seeking God’s guidance and clarity: specifics are still unfolding, but we trust His timing and provision.

We’re celebrating what He has already done and continues to do/ This school was first started as an effort to protect children in the village from being trafficked, and it has become a place of hope, safety, and growth. The children are thriving, and it is beautiful to see.

There is a pressing need for a secondary school building and program.

Please pray that the Lord will:
• Raise up the right team(s) to lead and serve
• Provide partners with the specific skillsets, expertise, and resources needed: including those able to contribute materials
• Provide wisdom and unity for all partners in the U.S. and Guinea-Bissau
• Make His hand evident throughout the entire planning process
• Open doors and provide resources for this next phase

Thank you for standing with us in prayer as we continue working together to make a lasting difference in the lives of these young people and to grow the Kingdom.
