We provide person-centered programs that adapt to every person’s unique pathway throughout life, ensuring every person's life is cultivated by their passions, goals, and desires. Star was honored to be the recipient of the Excellence in Partnership Award at the Maryland DORS 2026 Awards Ceremony. Our employment team received the award for, "demonstrating an outstanding commitment to collaboration with DORS in helping individuals with significant disabilities achieve competitive, integrated employment." We are humbled to be the only CRP in the state to have been awarded at yesterday's ceremony, and we are grateful for our ability to work alongside DORS to help people achieve limitless possibilities. Congratulations to our employment team: James, Amber, Wendy, Melissa, and Stephanie!

Our Together We R.I.S.E. ambassadors provided incredible exposure for disability advocacy throughout September. Through the use of our Ambassador Toolkit, they shared our vision with new faces in our community, inspiring them to take our advocacy pledge and make a difference. Thank you Pediatric Movement Center, Middletown Valley Bank, Children In Need, Inc., and The Salvation Army Hagerstown, MD Command for helping to create a more inclusive community!

We love DSP Week, and this year we're wrapping up the week with awesome duffel bags for our staff members. Each year during DSP Week, we give a gift to our staff members every day. Whether it's Star umbrellas, Krumpe's donuts, lip balm, gummy bears, or duffel bags, our staff go into every day wondering what they'll be taking home. THANK YOU to all of our DSPs for everything you do! You help people achieve every single day!
