The Chamber's next Business Awards event will take place on February 26, 2026, celebrating businesses and nonprofits in Washington County. Washington Co.

The Washington County Chamber of Commerce honors excellence in the business and non-profit community. Award categories:

At Your Service: Awarded to a retail or service organization, doing business in Washington County, for undertaking actions that generate customer loyalty and satisfaction. Large Business of the Year Award (50+ employees): Awarded to an organization, doing business in Washington

County, that has demonstrated any or all of the following: product or service quality, job creation, innovation, strong community involvement, high standard in business practice, commitment to Washington County and the community. Small Business of the Year Award (below 50 employees): Awarded to an organization, doing business in Washington County, that has demonstrated any or all of the following: product or service quality, job creation, innovation, strong community involvement, high standard in business practice, commitment to Washington County and the community. Non-Profit Award: Recognizes and honors a 501c3 organization with a Washington County based Board of Directors that provides exemplary services and/or programs. The recipient receives an unrestricted grant of $1,000, made possible by the Community Foundation of Washington County, MD. Young Professional of the Year: Awarded to a Washington County business person under the age of 40 who, during the last year, has demonstrated excellence in business, enhanced the image of the business community and/or has provided superior service to business and the community as a whole. Business Person of the Year: Awarded to a Washington County business person who, during the last year, has demonstrated excellence in business, enhanced the image of the business community and/or has provided superior service to business and the community as a whole.
