Transition aged-out foster youth, between 14-26, into adulthood by providing housing needs 🏡, mental health 🧠, financial education 💸, and connection to resources 🔄. Our Mission: HomeSweetHome Foundations' mission is to transition aged-out foster youth between ages 16-26 into adulthood by providing housing, financial literacy, mental health aid, and connection to resources. We are a nonprofit organ

ization that relies on volunteers and the generosity of American donors. Our Vision: There are 500,000 homeless citizens in America; 125,000 are youth after they turn 18. Our program will help reduce that population by providing housing via tiny homes and apartments. By implementing a financial literacy course as well the youth will develop more confidence when they graduate into their accommodations. Mental health aid can help trauma victims grow out of their experience in households. The resources we connect them to can offer opportunities such as jobs, more education opportunities, grants, and many more. In Summary: Our youth needs us more than ever, as the homeless population grows every day the youth makes up almost 50% of that population. As we push to bridge the gap between childhood and adulthood our nationwide dilemma all boils down to home; providing youth with an affordable and comfortable place to stay will increase chances for success.
