Happy President's Day! Did you know? Fourteen presidents were Freemasons, fifteen if you include Lyndon B. Johnson who was initiated into Freemasonry but never progressed beyond the first degree of Entered Apprentice. Some believe that Thomas Jefferson and James Madison could have been Freemasons, but no historical records exist to validate these claims.

Today we created over 60 child identification kits for parents at the Washington County Emergency Preparedness Expo. Thank you everyone who volunteered and came out!

All data is placed on a USB drive and provided to parents - no data is retained or stored by us or any government agency.

These kits are intended to help with lost or missing kids and can be provided to law enforcement by the parent in an emergency.

This morning, Hagerstown Lodge #217 worked with Sleep in Heavenly Peace to build beds with our community so that no child sleeps on the floor in our town. Hagerstown #217 had Brothers join us from Friendship Lodge #84 and Amicable St. John’s #25. In total about 40 participants made 30 beds for children.
