Cohorts are in session at Liberty International Development! Students are learning valuable life skills in each of the 5 classes at Liberty International Development.

In 6 months, students will learn Bricklaying, Tailoring / Sewing, Welding & Fabrication, Electrical Installation, or Plumbing! Through these trainings, individuals are equipped with practical skills to take into their careers. They receive hands-on training, certification through the Malawi government’s TEVETA system, and the confidence to do real work.

Each student becomes a ripple of change. ✅ Students gain skills that lead to employment or even starting small businesses! ✅ Wages earned create a positive impact on their family, covering essential expenses like school fees and food. ✅ Communities benefit as these practical trade skills get put to use locally. ✅ Graduates grow in responsibility and purpose, becoming more engaged in their churches — serving, leading, and giving back.

Our lives are filled with incredible connections. God uses these connections to form our stories, build relationships, and open doors. Liberty International Development started with connection: relationships the Lord put together and doors only He could open. A Youth Bootcamp led to Bible School, which led to a National Youth Bootcamp, which led to a Pastor's Conference, and then another Pastor's Conference in Malawi with over 50 churches joining in. That pathway of connections became the catalyst for Liberty International Development, launched in Malawi in 2018.

The vision? To equip leaders and youth to build the future of their communities.

Today, Liberty International Development offers five life-changing classes that impact not only the students who attend, but their families, churches, and communities.

This is just one small part of the story we have to share with you. Follow along as the story continues to unfold.

Today’s one liner,The best things in life are free: hugs, smiles, friends, kisses, family, sleep, love, laughter, and good memories. Life is too short to not make eternal investment in the lives of others.

Take a look at some of the pictures from the mission trip from.the Malawi Mission trip team. There were a lot more they did than are in these pictures. We were blessed to have had Mike and Kari to have led the team since MY WIFE Stacy and I nd our two sons could not go because of my health issue just before we were to leave. But it was fantasticfrom all of the reports.
