Markeim Arts Center

Markeim Arts Center Markeim Arts, a nonprofit arts center in Haddonfield, Camden Co. NJ, offers art classes & camps to So Jersey. The Arts are the expression of a community.

Since the advent of the Haddonfield Arts and Crafts League in 1956, the goal of the Center has been to promote the creation and enjoyment of the visual arts. Now over 50 years later, the renovation of the gallery and development of expanded programs and services for artists ensures that the Markeim Arts Center will continue to fulfill its commitment to that community. We are grateful to our sponsors and friends for their contributions to this lasting legacy.

Bio: Zack ā€œZapā€ Brandinelli, or as his students call him ā€œMr. Zā€, works as an elementary and middle school art teacher currently teaching in Maple Shade, New Jersey. Serving as an apprentice to a comic book artist in high school and graduating with a degree in illustration from Minneapolis College of Art and Design, Zap has a keen interest in sequential storytelling and cartooning that covers a wide range of mediums but specializes in drawing and digital illustration, with an interest in small scale sculpture work. While he loves teaching, one of Zap’s life goals is to self-publish a book of his own featuring his creator-owned characters but until then he is happy to be teaching others and taking commissions to improve his skills.
